  “Isn’t he your friend?” she asked.

  “After the conversation I had with him, he doesn’t strike me as a logical guy.”

  “You heard me. I don’t want you to be alone with him.”

  She growled then opened her car door. “Good night, Theo.”

  “I’ll talk to you later.” She slammed the door shut then locked the doors.
