  After he stepped away, I pressed my face to hers. “Can we go now?”

  “We’ve been here for, like, an hour,” Skye said.

  “And now Slade and Trinity might have a little one on the way,” Conrad said. “That’s crazy. Everyone is having kids.”

  “They’re great,” Arsen said. “They’ll be your whole world, but in a good way.”

  “How many are you going to have?” Clementine held Ward Jr. in her arms.

  “As many as she’ll let me have.” I kissed Skye’s neck before I turned back to the group.

  “Which means two,” Skye said.

  “Or three,” I added.

  Skye shook her head. “Just two.”

  “We’ll see about that,” I said. “You were on birth control and I knocked you up. I’ll just do it again.”

  Slade laughed. “Cayson likes a challenge.”

  I looked at my watch and sighed. “Can we go now?”

  “Don’t be rude,” Skye whispered.

  Skye

  When I woke up the next morning, Cayson lay beside me. His large size took up most of the bed, and the sheets were warm because his body acted as a natural heater. He slept in the nude, and his rock-hard chest and tight stomach was such a lovely sight.

  “What do you want to do today?” he asked. “Stay in the bedroom? That sounds like a good plan to me.”

  “Whatever you want, Cayson. You must be exhausted.”

  “I’m never too tired to make love to you.”

  “No…I meant you must be tired from your journey.”

  “Even better.” He beckoned me toward him.

  I stopped in front of the couch but didn’t sit down.

  “I’m going to snatch you,” he warned.

  “Can you take off your shirt?”

  He leaned over the desk then kissed me. “Yeah?”
